Ms. Demirjian concentrates her practice in all areas of state and federal environmental law. She represents clients from a wide range of industries, including chemical and pharmaceutical companies, corporate and banking clients and real estate developers. Ms. Demirjian's experience includes:
· Counseling clients concerning the environmental risks and liabilities impacting transactions involving pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing companies, private equity investors and national specialty service companies.
· Representing clients in administrative and civil enforcement proceedings and in litigation under major state and federal environmental laws including CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, TSCA and state law equivalents.
· Counseling clients on a wide range of permitting issues relating to new and existing pollution sources.
· Assisting clients in navigating chemical and hazardous materials reporting requirements under various state and federal environmental laws.
Ms. Demirjian is an active member of Blank Rome's Chemical Industry Team.
Ms. Demirjian has authored articles on chemical industry, energy and environmental related issues and has given presentations to clients and peers involving environmental laws and issues.
During law school, Ms. Demirjian interned for the Environmental Enforcement Section of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and for the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she worked on Clean Water Act and CERCLA related issues.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Ms. Demirjian served as law clerk for the Honorable Carol E. Higbee, P.J.Cv. in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where she worked on legal issues for the Vioxx, Accutane and Hormone Replacement Therapy mass tort litigations.

Ms. Demirjian is a member of the Delaware Valley Environmental Inn of Court. She was recently appointed an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University School of Law at Camden and coaches the law school's environmental moot court team.
