Heather Meredith is a partner in our Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group in Toronto. She practices in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and commercial litigation including contract disputes, banking and bills of exchange litigation.
Ms. Meredith has also acted as counsel in professional liability cases and has served as prosecutor at the Discipline Committee of the Ontario College of Teachers. She was on secondment to the Ontario Securities Commission, Enforcement Division, in early 2003.
Ms. Meredith is active within the firm with student recruitment, mentoring, and serving on the Business Development Committee of the WIN Network, the firm's initiative to support women in the advancement of their professional careers.
Ms. Meredith received her B.Arts Sc. (Hons.) from McMaster University in 1998, her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and her MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, graduating from the combined program in 2002. Ms. Meredith was called to the Ontario bar in 2003.
She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates Society and the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations.
