| Biography | He graduated from Rafael Landivar University in 2000. He is an Attorney at Law and Notary, founder partner of Palomo & Porras. Also he obtained a Master Degree in Intellectual Property at the San Carlos de Guatemala University and has studies of International Commerce at the Santiago de Chile University. He is a legal adviser of clients in the pharmaceutical, technological and consumption products, industry, cosmetics and beverages areas among others. He is a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the American Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce (AmCham); and since 2002, of the International Trademark Association (INTA). Also, he has been Adviser of the Ministry of Economy in Free Trade Agreements' Negotiations; Consultant of the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) in State Contracts' matters; consultant of projects in the Ministry of Agriculture of Guatemala in the Biodiversity field; consultant at the Science and Technology National Council supporting domestic inventors among others. Currently, he is a docent at master degree level in Intellectual Property Law.
