Henry's practice focuses on business litigation, including disputes involving complex commercial issues, closely held business litigation, fiduciary duty, tort law, administrative law, defamation and libel claims, privacy issues, trade secret, non-competition and employment law. He represents and counsels clients on litigation and employment matters across a variety of industries, including technology, higher education and financial services. Henry has also represented high profile political and business figures. Representative experience includes: ˇ An ownership dispute regarding a National Football League team ˇ Major employment trial for an international pharmaceutical company ˇ Resolving security clearance issues for government defense contractors ˇ Counseling and advising numerous employees on a multitude of employee issues ˇ Significant regional labor dispute between a national retailer and an international labor union ˇ Conducting numerous internal investigations for a variety of businesses ˇ Closely held corporate and family-owned business dissolutions and related complex litigation, including real estate and other investment holdings Additionally, Henry has counseled clients and conducted seminars on federal and state civil rights statutes, anti-discrimination laws and issues of sexual harassment in the workplace. He has represented clients before the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission, the Massachusetts Commission against Discrimination and federal and state courts in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Rhode Island, as well as the U.S. Department of Defense Directorate for Industrial Security Clearance Review. Henry has served the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Special Assistant Attorney General in a congressional redistricting case. Before joining Mintz Levin in 1985, Henry was a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court. He was also a law clerk to the United States Department of Labor Regional Solicitor's office in Boston. He is a member of the American, Massachusetts, and Boston Bar Associations, and represented the Massachusetts Bar Association in the American Bar Association's House of Delegates from 1992-1994. In 2011, he was named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers list. Henry is admitted to practice in the courts of Massachusetts and before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Boston College (1980) and his J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School (1984).
