Bernie was profiled in the April 2002 edition of Forbes magazine for his beloved interest in wine. Every November, Bernie traveled to France to Beaune, in the heart of Bourgogne, and his mission was to bid at the famous Hospices de Beaune wine auction, the largest charity auction in the world and one of the most sought after and difficult auctions to gain attendance. Bernie served 11 years as Cellar Master for the United States for the Burgundy Wine Society, and annually leaves the Hospices de Beaune with his own custom-made vintage he purchases for his syndicate. If you ever have a question about wines, Bernie will know the answer.
