Henry Wiercinski is a partner in the firm's Toronto office. His practice is focused on asset securitization, banking, creditors' rights, corporate reorganizations, equipment leasing, financial institution regulation, infrastructure and alternative finance and procurement initiatives, project finance, secured transactions and structured finance.
Mr. Wiercinski appears in the 2011 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, a guide to the leading law firms and practitioners in Canada, as a leading lawyer in the areas of asset/equipment finance and leasing and banking. He is listed in the 2006-2011 editions of Chambers Global: The World's Leading Lawyers for Business in the area of banking and finance. Mr. Wiercinski is recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada as a leading lawyer in banking law, equipment finance law and public finance law.
He received his BA and his LLB from Queen's University. Mr. Wiercinski was called to the Ontario bar in 1975.
