Biography

Mr. Tucker attended Durham University where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 2008. He then went on to City Law School and graduated from the Bar Vocational Course in 2009. During his time in University Mr. Tucker worked as a Banking Intern at America's Growth Capital, an Investment Bank specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions in Boston, MA, and also spent a summer as a Law Student at Appleby in Bermuda.

After graduating from the Bar Vocational Course Mr. Tucker accepted pupilage at Trott & Duncan where he worked under the supervision of our Senior Director, Delroy Duncan. During his pupilage Mr. Tucker assisted on contentious matters ranging from large-scale commercial insolvency to simple landlord and tenant disputes. This work included assisting on three reported cases concerning appeals to the Court of Appeal and the Privy Council.

Mr. Tucker has been given the opportunity to continue his training at 4 Stone Buildings, a leading commercial litigation set in London, and will be returning to join Trott & Duncan in August, 2011. Upon his return to Bermuda he intends to continue his work in all areas of civil litigation.
