Herbert L. Zuckerman is probably the only New Jersey lawyer with equal experience and skills in criminal tax fraud, adversarial tax controversies, estate planning and transactional corporate tax matters. He has practiced in these four areas, first as an accountant, then as a lawyer, since 1949. Mr. Zuckerman has lectured and written extensively on all four areas before the New York University Tax Institute and ICLE and has been published in numerous periodicals and journals including the Journal of Taxation, the ABA's Senior Division publication, Experience, and the New Jersey Bar Journal. He has litigated extensively before the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Second Circuit, Ninth Circuit and Federal Circuit.
