Opened in 1964, the Paris office has grown to become one of the most respected law firms in the French legal market. Herbert Smith Paris provides a full range of domestic and international legal services primarily to international corporations and financial institutions. The office has five main groups (banking and finance, company, litigation and arbitration, projects, EU/competition) as well as a series of specialised groups (employment, information technology, intellectual property, real estate and tax). The office currently consists of some 80 lawyers, of whom 15 are partners plus one Of Counsel, who are qualified either in France as avocats or in England as solicitors (and, in a number of cases, in both jurisdictions).
