About this office:

Herman, Katz, Cangemi & Clyne, LLP was founded in November 2005 as a result of the merger of the law practices of Jay M. Herman, formerly a partner with the firms of Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP and Koeppel Martone Leistman & Herman, LLP and the Law Frim of Robert S. Katz. The guiding philosophy of the new firm is to provide the highest level of professional service and results. The partners have well over 50 years combined experience in the areas of property tax review and eminent domain, and have represented clients at both the administrative and judicial level throughout the State of New York - from New York City to Long Island, from lower New York State to the Hudson Valley and from western New York State to the Finger Lakes and beyond. Kevin M. Clyne is the Senior Associate at Herman & Katz, having joined the firm in April, 2006. Each of the attorneys at Herman and Katz, LLP has substantial litigation and trial experience in property tax review and eminent domain. As a result of its ability to exhaust every legal avenue, Herman and Katz, LLP achieves excellent results for its clients. The firm has served as outside property tax counsel to several REITS and institutional developers with multi-state holdings. As experts in the litigation of real estate value, the firm has also provided consulting services and been retained to assist counsel in bankruptcy, divorce and estate matters.

Statement of Practice Summary:
