Howard M. Weinman is a partner in the DC office of Crowell & Moring LLP. He graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University in 1969 and cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1973. He received an LL.M. (Taxation) with highest honors from George Washington University in 1981. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Mr. Weinman has lectured and written extensively on tax issues. His articles have appeared in Tax Management International Journal, The Journal of Taxation, The Journal of Tax Practice & Procedure and Taxes. He was a legislation attorney for the Joint Committee on Taxation, U.S. Congress, from 1978 to 1980. He has taught International Tax as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center.
His law practice emphasizes tax planning and controversy resolution with respect to corporate and partnership taxation. Mr. Weinman is a member of the bar of the District of Columbia.
