About this office: The firm provides legal services statewide with heaviest concentration in the major metropolitan areas of New Orleans, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, and Alexandria and the more rural jurisdictions in the parishes of Avoyelles, Evangeline, St. Landry, Lafayette, Acadia, Vermilion, St. Martin, Iberia, St Mary and Jefferson Davis. The firm practices in all Federal, Tribal, and State Courts in Louisiana as well as FINRA arbitration venues. The primary emphasis of our practice is on casualty defense litigation (primary and excess) in both the personal injury and property fields. This would include all areas of automobile, general liability, worker's compensation (including Longshoreman and Harbor Worker's Compensation Act), products liability, admiralty and maritime personal injury, architects and engineer liability, contractors' liability, construction defects, premises liability, and police and municipality liability. The firm also actively engages in subrogation practice and the defense of property claims in the particular area of arson and fraud. Some of our attorneys also practice in the areas of securities arbitration, social security, and Indian law.
