Isabella Lee concentrates her practice in employment law and employee benefits law. Her practice encompasses all areas relating to the counseling, training and representation of clients in federal and state courts, as well as before state and local agencies. She also drafts and reviews employment policies, plan documents, employment contracts, and employee handbooks. Additionally, Isabella advises clients on the design, administration, and legal compliance of health and welfare employee benefit plans.
Prior to returning to graduate school to get her J.D. and M.B.A., Isabella had a management career in the consumer banking and education industries.
Recent Experience
ˇ Represents large employers in Title VII, FMLA and FLSA suits in various federal courts.
ˇ Defends claims under ERISA, including welfare benefits claims and delinquency actions.
ˇ Assists employers with the design, drafting, and administration of employee policies and welfare benefit plans.
ˇ Recently awarded summary judgment in discrimination lawsuits under Title VII, the ADEA, and the Equal Pay Act.
ˇ Frequently defends clients in administrative actions with the EEOC.
ˇ Assists with the enforcement of business contracts, employment contracts and non-competition agreements.
