Isabelle Vendette is a partner in our Litigation Group in Montréal. Her practice focuses mainly on commercial and civil litigation. Her experience includes numerous litigations for damages, judicial reviews and injunctions. She regularly pleads before the civil courts as well as administrative tribunals.
Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Ms. Vendette practised commercial litigation at a leading international law firm in Boston. She also served as law clerk to the Honourable Justice Jean-Louis Baudouin at the Québec Court of Appeal.
Ms. Vendette received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Montréal, a master's degree in European and comparative law with distinction from the University of Oxford, and an LLM in American Law from Boston University.
Ms. Vendette is a member of Québec bar, Massachusetts bar and New York State bar. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Oxford Ellesmere Law Society, and the Young Bar Association of Montréal.
