Darin has represented clients in over $3 billion of bond financings and restructurings between 2007 and 2009 alone. In addition, Darin has experience in HUD guaranteed mortgage financing and affordable housing. Corporate Law. Darin assists clients in numerous corporate transactions including purchasing and selling businesses, applying for and maintaining federal income tax exemption status, applying for and maintaining property tax exemption, analyzing excess private benefit transaction issues, not-for-profit corporation setup, joint venture set up, and contracting issues. Darin routinely drafts and reviews contracts, purchase and sale agreements, management agreements, letters of intent, opinion letters, and advice memoranda. Background: Darin earned his law degree from the University of Florida in 1994 and, combined with his certified public accountant certification, practiced in the area of tax.
