Steve Kirkham is a partner at Waller Lansden and co-manages the firm's Real Estate practice. Practicing primarily in the area of commercial real estate, Mr. Kirkham has extensive experience representing both developers and end-use retailers in the development of shopping centers and regional malls. He represents several restaurant companies in the acquisition and leasing of unimproved real property for the purpose of building new restaurants throughout the country. His practice is national in scope and in the past year he has provided counsel on more than 30 transactions for these clients.
Mr. Kirkham represents clients in acquisition, disposition, syndication and financing of multi-family housing complexes. In representing such clients, he is often involved in structuring and negotiating complex acquisition and financing vehicles, utilizing securitized credit facilities, multi-tiered ownership structures and synthetic lease transactions. His residential real estate experience also includes assisting developers of high-end single family homes.
Additionally, Mr. Kirkham assists commercial real estate developers with the purchasing, financing, development and leasing of mixed-use office buildings, hotels and other facilities.
