Tyler Butts is an associate in the firm's Litigation Section and an active member of the firm's Appellate and Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, white-collar defense, class action litigation, and antitrust litigation. Prior to joining Robinson & Cole, Mr. Butts worked with a national law firm on securities and probate litigation as well as on complex class action matters.
Mr. Butts graduated Order of the Coif from The College of William & Mary School of Law. He served as a notes editor on the William & Mary Law Review, competed at the ABA's National Moot Court Competition as a member of the William & Mary Moot Court Team, and contributed to the William & Mary Business Law Review. He also advocated for clients of the Innocence Project and served as an ambassador of the law school in his role as a dean's associate.
