Biography

Jack has a general practice which focuses on commercial law, corporate law, labour and employment law, mines and minerals, and general civil litigation with a large aboriginal law component. He has a number of years' experience working with independent business clients and commercial lenders in areas relating to commercial fundings, joint ventures, incorporations and corporate reorganizations. He has in particular assisted in projects with oil and gas, mines and minerals and general commercial aviation.

Additionally, Jack has been involved in the provision of strategic business advice to a number of aboriginal development corporations, aboriginal land claimant groups and other closely held small business entities in both the Northwest Territories and the Nunavat jurisdictions. His general litigation experience includes defence work on behalf of various levels of government and other corporate entities which comprise of various insurers, professional organizations and corporations.
