About this office: Located in the historic "Black Diamond Building" in downtown Birmingham, the firm was founded by Steve (K. Stephen) Jackson in 1989. The firm's lawyers are presently licensed in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, and the District of Columbia, and are "of counsel" with a law firm based in Orlando, Florida. Our lawyers are also admitted to practice before the Third, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuits (U.S. Appellate Courts) as well as the United States Supreme Court and a multitude of Federal District Courts.
