Jackson Walker maintains a very active bankruptcy, reorganization and creditors' rights practice, representing clients in bankruptcy cases and out of court workouts throughout the Southwest and many parts of the United States. The firm maintains offices in six cities in Texas which gives it the widest geographic presence of any firm in the state.

Jackson Walker attorneys have extensive knowledge and experience representing many different types of participants in bankruptcy cases, debt restructurings, liquidations and workouts, including secured and unsecured creditors, financial institutions, indenture trustees, official and unofficial committees, debtors, receivers, trustees and asset purchasers.

Our attorneys have a wide range of experience in advising clients in connection with a variety of matters ranging from complex, sophisticated and fast paced corporate Chapter 11 cases to reorganization and liquidation proceedings of individuals and small business entities. Jackson Walker attorneys have substantial experience in litigation and are regularly involved in preference and fraudulent transfer actions, valuation and automatic stay proceedings, objections to discharge and commercial litigation arising in connection with bankruptcy cases.
