Jackson Walker currently represents all types of participants in commercial real estate transactions, including: institutional and individual developers, institutional and individual investors (both domestic and foreign), asset management and development divisions of major corporations, pension fund asset managers, retailers, and owned real estate departments of banks, credit unions, and savings and loan associations.
In addition, the firm has handled numerous condemnation matters over the years, representing condemnation authorities, landowners, and leaseholders of condemned improvements.
The firm has attorneys in its Real Estate section who have significant experience in negotiating and drafting construction and land acquisition contracts, as well as handling land use and zoning matters, and right of way and other property acquisitions which, in Texas and other nearby states, can involve issues regarding subsurface mineral rights.
