Jacob S. Buurma is an Associate in the Firm's Litigation Practice Group.
His practice focuses on a range of business and commercial disputes including consumer fraud (including the defense of financial institutions from FDCPA and FCRA claims), breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, health care litigation, Insurance Fraud Prevention Act defense, environmental litigation and complex commercial foreclosures. Mr. Buurma has also counseled clients in construction actions involving litigation, mediation and international arbitration.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Buurma served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Stanley R. Chesler, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
