Jacob Nelson is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.
Mr. Nelson served as law clerk for the Hon. James E. Gritzner, U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Iowa. During law school, he was a judicial extern for the Hon. Aleta A. Trauger of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Mr. Nelson earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School (J.D., 2008) where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. He graduated with highest distinction and honors in political science and communication studies from the University of Iowa (B.A., 2004).
He was a member of the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps.
Mr. Nelson is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Iowa.
