| Additional Bio Details | Ms. Maurer focuses her practice on representing employers in disputes and counseling with respect to any and all employment law issues. She has litigation experience in employment, business and commercial law at the federal, state and local levels. She routinely handles cases involving discrimination law, alleged breaches of employment contracts, wage and hour compliance, potential violations of the FMLA, ADA, ADEA and other federal and state employment laws. In addition, she works with management in drafting employee handbooks, employee and independent contractor agreements, as well as various policies and procedures that serve to protect the client on a prospective basis. Ms Maurer also periodically speaks at a variety of seminars and provides training sessions on all aspects of employment law. |
