Jake Watson is a founding partner of Watson Graffeo P.C. in Huntsville, Alabama. His practice concentrates on defending people accused of crimes in state and federal court. He has earned the acquittal of one man who had previously been sentenced to Alabama's death row before he received a new trial based on prosecutorial misconduct. Mr. Watson has earned acquittals in other cases, including both federal and state cases. Mr. Watson is a staff instructor at Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming. In 2003, Mr. Watson graduated from the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia. Jake graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law where he was a member of the Gonzaga Law Review and the National Moot Court Team. He is also licensed to practice law in Montana. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Alabama Bar Association, and the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association.
