As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Mr. Scaduto heads the team responsible for, among other things, providing employee counseling and handling employee disciplinary matters; designing and administering the firm's pension (e.g., 401k plan), welfare benefits plans (e.g., health, dental and vision care plans), and time-off policies; and managing the firm's secretarial support staff, including their assignments and compensation.
Before joining Sills Cummis in 2008, Mr. Scaduto served as the most senior human resources officer at Dow Jones & Company for 12 years during which he led the management of the company's compensation and benefits programs, organization development and management training initiatives, and employee and labor relations support. Previous to that, Mr. Scaduto practiced law as a member of the Dow Jones legal department and at several private-practice firms in New York City.
