| Biography | As a shareholder of the firm's Criminal Law/Civil Rights Team, James Trabilsy concentrates his practice in defending individuals charged with criminal or motor vehicle offenses in state, federal, and municipal courts. Mr. Trabilsy's practice involves all phases of the criminal area including pre-trial motion, trial preparation, trials, sentencing and appeals. Regarding municipal court matters, he concentrates his practice in representing people charged with drunk driving. The civil rights portion of his practice involves the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants.
Mr. Trabilsy became associated with the firm in 1981, after law school, and was made a shareholder in 1990. He has published an article, "Are There Any Defenses Left in Drunk Driving Cases" - Middlesex County Publications. He is a member of the 2004-2006 Supreme Court Municipal Court Practice Committee, Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers-New Jersey, and the New Jersey State and Middlesex County Bar Associations.
