James "Jay" Haithcock is an associate and practices in the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group.
Jay earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he served as Associate Editor for the Cumberland Law Review. He was a Judge Abram Caruthers Teaching Fellow, Dean's Merit Scholarship Recipient and listed on the Dean's List numerous times. Jay received his B.S. in Business Administration, with a minor in Political Science, from the College of Charleston.
Jay is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the South Caroline State Bar. In addition, he was recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division.
