James Huber is a retired partner in Foley & Lardner LLP's Milwaukee office. His nearly 30 years of commercial litigation experience focused on real estate matters, including problem loans and workouts, building and contractor disputes, financing disputes, lender liability, and general construction matters. Previously a member of the firm's Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice, Mr. Huber co-authored publications on foreclosure and repossession and was a frequent speaker on such topics. He also practiced in such commercial law areas as insurance/bad faith matters, contracts, product liability and warranty issues and medical malpractice. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and of the Milwaukee and American Bar Associations.
A University of Wisconsin graduate, Mr. Huber received his B.B.A. degree in 1960 and his LL.B. degree in 1963. He was elected to the Order of the Coif, and served in 1962-1963 as a member of the Board of Editors of the Wisconsin Law Review.
