James P. Garland is a principal in the firm's Baltimore office, concentrating in the areas of telecommunications, general business litigation and labor and employment. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 1981, Mr. Garland has longtime litigation experience in his chosen areas of concentration in State and Federal Courts in the United States. A former chairman of the Section of Labor and Employment Law of the Maryland State Bar Association and of its Special Committee on Law Practice Quality, he is the senior member of the firm's Labor and Employment group.
