| Biography | James W. Austin is a partner with Austin & Ferguson, LLC, a firm exclusively practicing immigration and nationality law. With over ten years of teaching immigration law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, he was the 2010 recipient of the Elmer Fried Excellence in Teaching award. Mr. Austin serves as an AILA mentor in several categories is the past Chair of the National Benefits Center Liaison Committee, a former Chapter Chair and a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences.
