| Biography | Jamie Magnani is an associate with Cooley Manion Jones LLP. She is a civil litigator who focuses her practice on commercial disputes, products liability, and toxic tort litigation. Prior to joining Cooley Manion Jones LLP, Ms. Magnani was an associate at a large Boston law firm representing design professionals in a variety of complex construction related matters. Additionally, Ms. Magnani represented the State of New Jersey as an assistant prosecutor in Cumberland County, New Jersey where she also served as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph P. Testa, J.S.C. As Associate Director of the Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns, Ms. Magnani served as a lobbyist representing the interests of cities and towns before the general assembly and authored Ethics and Conflict of Interest: A Guide for Municipal Officials. Ms. Magnani graduated from Temple University School of Law with a LL.M. in Trial Advocacy in 2002. She received her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 2000 and her BA in Humanities and Business Studies from Providence College in 1997. Ms. Magnani is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Courts of New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Women's Bar Association.
