Jane Hinton is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She has been a member of the firm's Real Estate Department since May 2011.
Ms. Hinton represents a wide range of clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions of real property interests (both debt and equity), single asset and portfolio mortgage and mezzanine financings, as well as workouts and restructurings.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Ms. Hinton was a Director in the Commercial Real Estate Group of Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, where she focused on legal and tax structuring of debt and equity real estate transactions (including development and construction financing) covering Europe and the emerging markets of Russia and India.
Ms. Hinton previously practiced law as a real estate associate in the London office of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP focusing on UK and pan-European senior and mezzanine debt and principal equity investment transactions as well as working on commercial mortgaged-backed securitizations.
Ms. Hinton graduated with distinction from Sheffield Law School, having earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in law with honors from Sheffield Hallam University, where she received the Sweet & Maxwell law prize.
Ms. Hinton is a non-practising solicitor in England and Wales and is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
