Ms. Mapes was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1998, and since that time has been practicing Family Law. This area of practice focuses primarily on divorce; custody, conservatorship and access and possession of children, child support, modifications of orders regarding children; protective orders; spousal support; and property division. Other matters important to families include pre-marital agreements and marital property exchange agreements. She has conducted numerous trials, participated in hundreds of mediations and depositions and has extensive trial experience in the Dallas and Tarrant County Family Law Courts. She is zealous in her presentation of clients, whether in the courtroom or the conference room.
Prior to being admitted to the State Bar of Texas, she was admitted to the State Bar of Florida in 1988. Practice areas included Real Estate, Personal Injury and Family Law.
