Janet M. Audunson

Ms. Audunson brings 25 years of comprehensive engineering and management experience in the power generation field with a concentration in hydroelectric and fossil-fueled generation to her regulated entities practice. For over 20 of those 25 years, Ms. Audunson worked at a major New York-based utility culminating in the position of Director of Hydro Generation and Engineering Services, from 1994-1999. Upon the sale of the utility’s hydroelectric generation facilities to a Baltimore-based power generation company in 1999, she became General Manager for all of the independent power producer’s New York operations. In this capacity, she was active in the NYISO governance structure, serving as Vice-Chair of the NYISO Budget, Standards and Performance Subcommittee and as a Member Company Representative on the NYISO Management Committee and the NYISO Operating Committee. Ms. Audunson has considerable expertise in engineering, asset management, operations and maintenance, construction, and regulatory and environmental permitting and compliance, allowing her to effectively meet the needs of energy clients.
