Jason, who is also a Missouri-licensed CPA, has practiced in the tax law area for more than 20 years, handling corporate tax planning relating to reorganizations, purchases, divestitures, sales of business assets and tax considerations with respect to financings. He has extensive work experience in the area of cooperative taxation, cooperative joint ventures and financing transactions for cooperatives and has represented banks and bank holding companies in the acquisition and disposition of such entities in taxable and tax-free transactions
He was with the law firm previously known as Stinson Mag & Fizzell in Kansas City, Missouri from 1981 to 2002 and joined Husch Blackwell as a Partner in 2002.
