Experience
Jason is an "AV" rated attorney who practices in the areas of commercial litigation and bankruptcy and is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy issues. Jason has substantial experience representing debtors in Chapter 11 cases from the pre-filing stage through confirmation and post-confirmation activities. He has also represented creditors, trustees, and committees in all aspects of cases under Chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Additionally, he has represented creditors, assignors and assignees in state court assignments for the benefit of creditors. His experience also extends to the litigation of contract disputes, construction disputes and complex debt workouts.
Background
Jason obtained his B.S. from the University of North Florida in 1985 and his J.D. from the Florida State University in 1988. Jason was awarded a Rotary International Foundation Scholarship and studied law in Exeter, England. After obtaining his law degree, Jason served as a law clerk to the Honorable George L. Proctor, United States Bankruptcy Judge, Middle District of Florida.
