| Biography | Jason is a member of the Construction practice group at Troutman Sanders LLP. His practice focuses primarily on the prosecution and defense of construction claims in court or before arbitration panels. As lead or co-counsel Jason has successfully represented owners, contractors and subcontractors, design professionals and material suppliers in matters involving utility and infrastructure construction, power plants, high rise office buildings, university facilities, casinos and other complex projects. He has obtained favorable results for his clients at every stage of the litigation process from early motions, summary judgment, to verdicts for his clients following trial.
Jason draws on his litigation experience when negotiating and drafting construction contracts and associated contract documents on his clients' behalf. He has also been particularly successful at negotiating favorable business outcomes and utilizing other alternative dispute resolution procedures to resolve matters prior to engaging in costly litigation or when the ordinary litigation process is not in his clients' best interest.
