Jason Stone assists clients in matters relating to consumer financial regulatory compliance, as well as bankruptcy and restructuring matters. He is a member of Sutherland's Corporate Practice Group.
Jason has frequently written and spoken on consumer financial law issues, particularly with respect to the formation and work of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. In 2011, Jason co-authored The Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 - An Annotated Guide (North Law Publishers) with Sutherland partner B. Knox Dobbins, and he is a contributor to its companion website, CFPAGuide.com .
Prior to joining Sutherland, Jason had more than a decade of experience in the legal profession as a non-lawyer, concentrating primarily on issues facing manufacturing industries.
