| Biography | Mr. Gurmankin is an AV-rated commercial litigator, with more than three decades of experience representing clients in a wide range of cases, including antitrust matters, securities disputes, corporate governance, large embezzlements, fraud, real estate litigation, and administrative matters. From 1972 until 1977, Mr. Gurmankin was an attorney with the Federal Trade Commission, where he focused on litigation in the areas of antitrust and consumer issues. He became the Assistant Director of the San Francisco office, until he relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1977. Since 1977, Mr. Gurmankin has been in private practice, and has litigated disputes throughout the United States. Mr. Gurmankin participates in various legal educational panels related to antitrust, securities, and civil procedure. He recently engaged in a debate with the late professor John Flinn, a noted antitrust expert from the University of Utah, involving the antitrust issues surrounding the Bowl Championship Series.
