Jean Lortie is a partner in our Litigation Group in Montréal. His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, including class actions, shareholders' remedies, corporate and securities litigation, insurance law, professional liability, construction law, product liability and property law. Mr. Lortie appears as a leading lawyer in class action litigation and corporate and commercial litigation in the last edition of Best Lawyers in Canada.He is on the board of directors of Société de développement économique Ville-Marie and the chair of its Audit Committee. He is also a member of the council of the Montréal Chapter of the Fédération québécoise pour le saumon atlantique. He also teaches procedure, evidence and litigation techniques for the Bar Admissions. Mr. Lortie received his integrated BCL/LLB degree from McGill University in 1989. He was called to the Québec bar in 1991. |
