Jean-Nicolas Prévost practises business law, principally in the areas of commercial, real estate and banking law. An important part of his practice involves drafting and negotiating acquisition, development, management and administration agreements for real estate transactions and projects. He frequently represents institutional and private lenders or borrowers in financing transactions which involve the drafting, negotiation and implementation of extensive credit and security documentation. Mr. Prévost also practises in the area of public-private partnerships. He has experience in drafting and revising commercial leases.

Mr. Prévost has acted in the following transactions:
· The Griffintown II project for which Devimco Inc. is the developer, acting for a large group of debt and equity investors in the project
· The sale of the property situated at 888, rue Saint-Jean, Québec to Canmarc Real Estate Investment Trust by Édifice 888 inc. for C$9.1 million
· A real estate project in the Saguenay region consisting of 6 buildings for a total of 112 rental units, acting on behalf of Carrefour des Cygnes, s.e.c.
· Negotiations between Quebecor Media Inc. and the City of Québec for the management and operation of a C$400 million multipurpose arena to be built in the city
· C$56-million financing of a real estate investment fund by the Bank of Montreal
· Establishment of a joint venture between two large telecommunications companies for the provision of information technology services to government agencies
· Acquisition by a university of the property at 7400 St-Laurent Blvd., Montréal from a religious community
· Establishment of a joint venture for the construction and ownership of a plant in the Québec technology park and negotiation of the related financing by Business Development Bank of Canada
· Various acquisitions and financings for a large manufacturer of stainless steel equipment, including the acquisition from Whiterock REIT of the property at 390-420, rue Volta, Québec
· Financing of the expansion of the facilities of a pharmaceutical banner in an aggregate amount of C$55 million by a financial institution
