Biography

Jeffrey Ahdoot is a counsel in the firm's Intellectual Property Group, where he specializes in patent litigation. Jeffrey has experience in all aspects of patent litigation, from pre-suit investigations through trial and appeal. He has litigated patent infringement cases involving a wide range of technologies, including software applications, pharmaceuticals, electronic procurement methods, digital-image processing, wireless networking systems, object tracking and notification systems, and mechanical devices. Jeffrey also has experience in litigating "Section 337" patent cases before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Jeffrey received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Franklin Pierce Law Center and received his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Massachusetts. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring in 2008, Jeffrey was an associate at a large law firm in Boston, where he practiced in the firm's intellectual property litigation group. During law school, Jeffrey was a full-semester judicial clerk extern in 2005 to the Honorable Arthur J. Gajarsa, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and an intern at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2005 with the Solicitor's Office, and in 2003 as a Patent Examiner. He was also Senior Editor of IDEA: The Intellectual Property Law Review. Prior to entering the legal field, Jeffrey worked as a software engineering consultant for a large international software company.
