Biography

Jeff Mokotoff has a broad employment law practice and routinely counsels clients on a myriad of employment issues, drafts and reviews employment agreements, conducts management training, and litigates employment cases in state and federal court. He has extensive experience in representing clients concerning cases involving non-compete agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, employment/business torts, and wage and hour litigation.

Jeff is the co-editor of the "Wage & Hour - Fair Labor Standards Act" chapter of Ford & Harrison's annual Sourcebook and the editor of Ford & Harrison's Noncompete News newsletter. During law school, Jeff was the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Emory International Law Review. After graduating from Emory Law, Jeff practiced law in Boston before joining Ford & Harrison in 1996.

Recent Experience

ˇ Currently serving as lead counsel in a wage/hour class action with thousands in purported class.

ˇ Served as lead counsel in defense verdict win at trial defending against race discrimination and retaliation lawsuit.

ˇ Served as lead co-counsel in five year multi-million dollar trade secret litigation where the firm obtained a directed verdict in favor of the defendant on all damage claims. That ruling resulted in the settlement of the case on favorable terms.
