Jeffrey Meltzer has a broad range of experience in and focuses his practice on real estate finance, leasing, and purchase and sale transactions. He represents institutional lenders in the origination of commercial mortgage loans for securitization in the capital markets, and is experienced with various asset types, including retail, office, hotel, multifamily and industrial properties. He also represents both landlords and tenants in commercial lease transactions involving shopping centers and office buildings throughout the United States, and represents various companies in the acquisition and disposition of commercial property, including shopping centers, office/industrial buildings and vacant land for development.
Prior to joining Sills Cummis & Gross in 2005, Mr. Meltzer was affiliated with Hahn & Hessen in New York City where he represented major financial institutions in a variety of real estate and commercial finance matters.
