Jeffrey S. Kaufman was born in Miami, Florida and he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 1991 from Florida State University. He also obtained a second Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications from the University of Florida in 1993. Mr. Kaufman went on to attend the University of Tulsa where he completed his Juris Doctorate in 1996. Attorney Kaufman was admitted to the Florida Bar Association in 1996. He is licensed to practice law and an active bar association member in 15 other states including: Oklahoma, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Texas, Michigan, Maryland, New York, Washington, Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, Connecticut, and Ohio. Mr. Kaufman is also licensed in Florida's Northern, Central, and Southern Federal Districts. Prior to attending college, Attorney Kaufman was an active member of the U.S. Military's Army branch from 1984 until 1987. He started his career in law as a legal coordinator with Ocwen Financial Bank where he handled legal aspects related to the organizations foreclosed upon properties.

After serving the state, he realized that people in Florida were in desperate need of legal services that were not only aggressive, but affordable. With this philosophy in mind, he became a founding member of Kaufman, Englett & Lynd, PLLC. Throughout his history at the firm, he has represented thousands of clients in many areas of law and has become a nationally recognized defense attorney. Currently, Attorney Kaufman works with clients who are in need of reliable foreclosure defense solutions and counsel.
