Jeffrey T.G. Kelsey is an associate in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where he is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Department. His practice focuses on patent preparation, prosecution, and associated matters in the mechanical, electro-mechanical, and software arts.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Kelsey was an engineer with Moog, Inc. in East Aurora, New York, where he worked on a variety of aircraft programs involving mechanical, electrical, and software applications.
Mr. Kelsey received his J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a member of Michigan Law Review. He was a finalist and named best oral advocate in the Henry M. Campbell Moot Court Competition. Mr. Kelsey received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering in 2002 from Purdue University, where he participated in the Honors Cooperative Education Program and was a member of Pi Tau Sigma engineering honor society.
Mr. Kelsey is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana, as well as before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
