Stiller has more than thirty years of experience in health and hospital law, having concentrated her practice in that area since 1975. In 1999, she was named one of the best lawyers in Philadelphia by Philadelphia Magazine. In 2005, she was named to the inaugural class of AHLA Fellows.
Her practice involves virtually every area of health law, including the Stark and Anti-Kickback Laws, compliance, HIPAA/HITECH, hospital-physician contracts, medical staff privileges disputes, physician employment contracts, licensure and certification, hospital and medical staff bylaws, consent to/refusal of treatment, managed care, and clinical research issues.
Ms. Stiller is particularly well known for her work in provider reimbursement and in structuring business deals to conform to the Stark and Anti-Kickback Laws, Medicare reimbursement regulations, and other governmental requirements. She frequently serves as a consultant to other health lawyers seeking advice on complex Stark/Anti-Kickback situations.
