| Biography | Jennifer C. Messer began practicing law in 2001, and she joined the firm, of counsel, in 2010. Ms. Messer areas of concentration include municipal and governmental law, corporate litigation and employment law. Ms. Messer was born in Asheville, North Carolina, and grew up in East Tennessee where she graduated from Greeneville High School. Ms. Messer received a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a double major in Speech Communication and Political Science. In 2001, Ms. Messer obtained her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law where she was on the Moot Court and Mock Trial Teams. Ms. Messer is licensed to practice before the Indiana state and federal courts Ms. Messer, her husband Luke, and their three children reside in Shelbyville, Indiana. Ms. Messer is the Past Board Chair of Girls Inc. of Shelbyville and Shelby County, a member of the First Presbyterian Church personnel committee and is on the advisory board of Reach Out And Read, Indiana. In 2010, Governor Mitch Daniels appointed Ms. Messer to serve on the Nominating Committee for the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. In her spare time, Ms. Messer enjoys running, cooking and painting. (Also at Noblesville Office)
