Mr. Sattin concentrates in civil litigation and appellate practice with particular emphasis on insurance coverage litigation on behalf of corporate policyholders, and in the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device product liability litigation.
Mr. Sattin has been part of the group engaged in the nationwide management of breast implant litigation for a major pharmaceutical company, and a member of the team negotiating and implementing the national breast implant class action settlement in Birmingham, Alabama. He has also been involved in DES, DPT, and Norplant litigation, and has represented pharmaceutical and other product manufacturers in actions for coverage under liability insurance policies.
